On Saturday October 19th, 2013 I received word that I had again been a nominee for the 8th annual Black and White Spider Awards. I had all but forgotten that I had entered so it was a nice surprise. It is always a thrill to be recognized by a professional peer group, especially one as prestigious as this. In the past I had been a Nominee for the Spider Awards and the Masters Cup for Color Photography. As I digested the news it was assumed that I had probably had a Nomination for which I would have been humbled and honored. Later in the day I found out that I had 4 nominations in different categories, and a winner in the Fine Art, Professional category. That was a big thrill. “Thanks” to the judges.
